Checked in to secure a single room and was the only person at the desk. Attendant said first floor room was available and charged my card $134, immediately said that room was no longer available and charged my card $157 for 2nd floor room. Both charges were posted to my account, as I explained to the attendant but she said no problem, one would fall off. Today I called to see how this could happen. No explanation but the lesser of the 2 charges would be refunded. We'll see? And why the lesser of the 2? Never again. I'll sleep in my car before I go back in.

I have worked for choice hotel chain before and saw the reviews were not that good so I thought I would retry motel 6 after several bad experiences in other cities. I was impressed. Smelled clean upon entry and didn't disappoint. No shampoo or extras but I bring my own. Check them out if your passing through for the night or waiting on your pet at the Veterinary Hospital.
