It is located right beside the river in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. The walking bridge that crosses the river was a short distance away, for great views of the Saint John river and with a superb brewpub on the far shore. Several other good restaurants are within an easy walk with magnificent old manors overlooking the streets along the way. The included breakfast offered a choice of three healthy and delicious options, served in a large dining room in the company of other guests.

The room was great. It had an almost Victorian feel to it as it was filled with an eclectic collection of antique furniture and decor. Not without some mod cons like a flat screen, fridge and several outlets to charge up your numerous devices. Great location, just a ten minute walk to great restaurants, The Beaverbrook Art Gallery and the historic Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge. The breakfast is so fabulous that we keep going back! Angie makes the best blueberry/banana pancakes in the world! There’s bacon and eggs, cereal, granola, fruit and I can’t remember everything else because I’ll always have the pancakes. …and the parking is free.
