So I'll tell ya about the GOOD (which there is), the bad, the ugly AND how to fix the ugly. If you are coming here and have a shitty smell in your room I HAVE A QUICK FIX FOR YOU! We have stayed mid February 2026. Specifically in room #2327 We were one of those "lucky" who got a stinky room. As in you arive and your rooms smells with hardcore SHIT/sewer. Of course the front desk what was all happy and smiley and asked to talk to them if we ever have any issues is not able to do a thing about it, has no other rooms, no upgrades are available, and none ever had the issue before us. The front desk does not give a crap about you or your issues. The person who replies to all reviews does not give a crap about your issues and there is no appropriate department they can forward SHIT REQUESTs To. It's all just words with no action to support. You are in Mexico and you are on your own. Accept this and now let's fix your "shitty" vacation ;) THE GOOD PART is that it can be fixed pretty quick. Creativiy and Jose/maintenance guy can save your vacation, or better yet bring duct tape with you ;) Always saves the day. We traced the smell to come down through the doors near bathrooms and build in close area. Inside of it there are some plumbing pipes and possibly ewer vent pipes. The stinky air comes down that shaft and stinks up the whole rooms. The second area is the air vent in the bathrooms itself above the bathtub. Two plastic garbage bags and some painters tape MADE THAT ROOM GREAT AGAIN. See pictures attached. The first two pics show how we covered up and taped the stink entry points. After that the rooms was very livable. bathub has signs of being from 1980s, but you will not notice that once the smell is gone ;) Besides that the food was good. Not the best of the best, but we did not expect it in that price range. We have not been hungry, had plenty to choose from and there was always something good.
